With the advent of the electrical light bulb we were the first to collaborate with Mr. Thomas A. Edison in creating new types of chandeliers. The peak of this work was the chandelier we presented at the Simplon exhibition in Milan in 1906, the predecessor of the Triennale.
The striking new design was first to completely abolish the outside arms and use the crystal of the chandelier as the perceived light source.
Following this concept we created very elaborate pieces bearing highly decorated cast ornaments and our wonderful King’s Gold finish, resembling the old fire gilding.
