The Drawing Lamp by Thomas Feichtner is the simplest approach towards a table lamp imaginable still having a specific design characteristic. As such this table lamp is primarily an extension of the cable terminating in a single LED-element. The actual body of the lamp is not much more than a shaped image of the cable, frozen in a certain posture.
Exactly this posture gives the lamp its specific function: In the upright position the LED illuminates a larger area of the table, in the more horizontal position the beam focuses on a name-sake drawing. (or book if you are not drawing)
Thomas Feichtner designed this lamp originally for his personal use but it was discovered by Lobmeyr in 2011 and instantly added to the range.
