A plate is a plate? Not at Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. Every piece is unique, turned and painted by hand, although each plate is, of course, the same size, height and thickness as the next. But it is still unique. Because it bears the hallmark of the artist and the specific strokes of the flowers of life design. The floral patterns produced by designer Sebastian Menschhorn are always used as a template. But the individual brush strokes which are unique to each porcelain painter in the workshop make every plate and every cup a one-off masterpiece.
