The workshop has always focussed on allowing different artists to work together to produce the most beautiful results. It is an aim the workshop is still true to today. How else could a service which is nearly 80 years old produced by master craftsman Wolfgang von Wersin be combined with a contemporary tattoo-like design? The design is by Sebastian Menschhorn, whose stylised flowers of life can now be found meandering across Lotus plates and cups. The Viennese graphic designer has transformed the ancient oriental motifs into a contemporary, simplified design which has already been used to adorn some of the workshop’s animal figures.
