It is most likely pure coincidence that the tip of the handle of Konstantin Grcic’s egg cup Belle is just as sunny-yellow as the yolk of a freshly topped egg at breakfast time. For the hand-painted tip also comes in fresh green, pink, grey or black. The ingenious thing about the German industrial designer’s creation, however, is how securely the egg sits in its specially conceived cup. And thanks to the long handle, it is very easy to use at the table.
