Praise where praise is due. With Belle, Konstantin Grcic has succeeded in creating an abode for breakfast eggs that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is practical. The egg sits, beckoning, in its small dish with the long handle and waits to be topped. Looking at Belle, we are almost inclined to recall the adventurous egg and spoon races we had as children, balancing the fragile egg on a soup spoon, which was much to flat, and running across the room with outstretched arm. Crack! Now, – thanks to Grcic, that won’t happen again.
